Talking alarm clock or timer recommendation? (self.Blind)
submitted by hobbylobbyist1
I have a family member who is blind and mentally disabled. He needs a reminder periodically to take his medicine throughout the day. I want a timer that a caretaker can set for 60 minutes (ideally on a rolling basis - like it goes off every 60 min) that will notify him when it's time for his meds. Something that will talk out loud and be easy to set. Any ideas?

There are medication timers that allow a recorded message but perhaps something more general like a smart speaker, Alexa, Google Home, Home Pod might be able to do this. Google Home has the ability to set repeating alarms.

The Google Home has mostly replaced our use of alarm clocks and our trust Sharp EL-640 talking calculator.
