Need advice for engineering project (self.Blind)

Hello,
I'm taking an engineering class at my high school and we (my group and I) are creating a product that is meant to service those with vision loss. We wanted a diverse group of first hand opinions on our product which is a device that will translate Standard American English to English Braille. Please reply to this thread if you are interested in providing input on our product.

I’m from the uk so probably wouldn’t bbe able to test your product. Having said that, here are some questions:
1. Why do you think this product would be useful? We have apps like Seeing AI that reads text out to us.
2. How much will it cost?
3. How many cells does the device have?

Sorry for the late reply, we have just gotten back from winter break. Thank you for your interest in our product!
1. This product is unlike Seeing AI because it is silent, so it can be used in a variety of settings. Additionally, our product works with standard English Braille, rather than translating Braille into Standard American English. This aspect of our product is particularly beneficial to those who prefer hands-on learning to auditory learning, and to those who have hearing impairments in addition to having sight impairments.
2. The price of the product has not been determined yet, as we still in the early stages of developing it.
3. The device has 6 cells.
