Question for the guide dog users (self.Blind)

What do you do at night? If you get up to use the bathroom or get water do you keep any guide gear on your dog while sleeping? Do you have them dress then guide you?

A guide dog also needs a walk every day where he can be a "normal" dog and run around and sniff things. So you have to be able to navigate with a cane pretty well to have a guide dog.
