Designing packaging for visually impaired (self.Blind)
submitted by AVDesigner
Hello, I am a University student basing my major project on designing food and toiletry packaging to be more inclusive to those affected with sight loss.

To help with research, I need to get in contact with people affected with visual impairment to get an understanding on how they adapt to their surroundings in their everyday lives at home and when purchasing groceries in terms of interacting with products. If you live in the UK London area and you are interested in helping me with interviews, testing prototypes etc please let me know. (You will be compensated for your time and we can negotiate payments, but please be reasonable as I am full time student)

If anyone could share their experiences with distinguishing products such as canned foods or toiletries or have any ideas that could help me, I would be very interested to hear them.

If you are willing to help please contact me and we can plan further arrangements. Thank you

Train to London's not a problem. I have no vision at all, is that too far from what you need?
