distopia for redit (self.Blind)
submitted by WarriorPrincess31
Hi.
I know that redit is trying to make their app more accessible for the blind, but there's already an app dedicated for us blindies. It's called distopia for redit, and it is amazing. Currently it's in beta testing, but anyone can become a beta tester. It is the most accessible thing out there if you love redit. If anyone is interested, I can post the website where you can go to become a beta tester for this app.

While it is useful to have a dedicated app for a specific group, it would be a lot nicer if the default app was already made accessible.

In-app accessibility integration is important. Reddit could, essentially, capitalize if they bring more accessibility features to _their_ platform.

I signed up but there has been no news. So I don’t know what’s up.

Also, I use bacon reader and it’s already a pretty good app.

By the way this app and bacon reader is not legal on reddit officially I think. They ideally want people to use reddit.

But yeah.
