Scooters blocking ramps is ridiculous too.

I! Absolutely! Hate! Those! Things! They are a accessibility and a trip hazzard. We have them lining all over the sidewalks on my school campus. I decided to complain about them with my sschool, but they can’t do much about it. I haven’t made much headway with complaining to my city. I know people can ride whatever they want but it’s seriously annoying! It’s very unsafe when they park those things along a sidewalk. As far as I know they have been neatly placed but I don’t like it and I know someone is bound to get hurt expecially a blind person. My friend in oregon has told me that running in to the handle bars of these things is an issue. It’s been a non-issue here but I can totally see it happening.

Oh yeah, I've had a couple of close calls with electric cars coming from my blind side.
An electric car recently beat the time record for the Pikes Peak Hillclimb. It would have almost silently zipped up the mountain at tremendous speed, but it had a siren blaring. At that kind of speed nobody would have seen it coming.
There should be something like that for regular EVs - a white noise system would be good to identify their direction and it wouldn't be too annoying. That's turning into a standard for construction equipment, replacing the traditional beeping.
