I met him in high school and he was one of the very few people who never seemed put off or unsettled by the way my eyes looked or the odd habits I had, so naturally I relaxed around him. We became great friends and began dating a year later, and have been together for six years! We're both finishing up college in very different career paths (me for audio engineering, him for teaching art) and are going to FINALLY live together (and get engaged!) in around a year. Very excited.
