Hey guys I wanted to let you know about this app called $1it’s a really awesome app you get connected with a sighted volunteer and you point your camera at what you need help with whether that’s crossing the street or describing an item to you and it’s completely free
There are almost 2 million sighted volunteers and only 115,000 blind and visually impaired people on the app so your call will be answered very quickly. If you’re visually impaired and can help people during the daylight I would strongly recommend being a sighted volunteer as well as a visually impaired user

Most of us already know about this. I used it a few times but don’t find myself needing to use it often. Perhaps if I lived alone I may but I also get the store people to read stuff for me. I also have very bad aim and coordination generally hahaha! So it’s a little more difficult for me. I also don’t need it at the moment like I said.
