There isn’t a silver bullet for this, unfortunately. The reality is that you have a disadvantage in the dating world, since there’s a larger hurdle for a potential significant other to get over at first. Be yourself, and keep on trying. Remember, it’s a numbers game, and if you don’t play, you definitely won’t win.

The trick to finding someone that likes you for who you are is to be yourself.

Clubs and organizations are good ways for you to meet people. There are tons and tons of them at every college. Find something you are interested in and join the group. If you meet someone you are interested in at the meetup you already have a shared passion and something to talk about. Having that shared passion with someone was always really helpful in my experience. Also, since you are studying engineering, join study groups for your calc and physics courses. These are small groups of about six people that you meet up with twice or so a week and you get to know them well. It's a good way to socialize as you all work together on homework problems. I hope you find something in that that is useful. Just don't get discouraged. College was a lot of fun for me even with losing my sight.
