Looking for an EPUB or DAISY Book Reader for PC Running JAWS (self.Blind)
submitted by TheBlindBookLover
I especially need the program to be able to handle large files such as textbooks. I like the format of FS Reader, but it does not handle large files very well. Lastly, the cheaper, the better. Thank you to anyone who responds.

I love that software I read whole
novels just using the Eloquence synthesiser that comes with JAWS. I think this is pretty rare from what I've heard.

Hi. Thanks for the response. I tried out the demo. It works great. What are the benefits of the premium version? Thanks again!!!

You can read more than 20% I believe.

$1 is a free ebook reader and supports epub files, not sure about DAISY and not sure how JAWS support is, but I'd give it a shot since it's free.

Hi. Unfortunately, it was not compatible with JAWS. Thanks for the response.

Adobe digital editions works to an extent, and you'll need it if you have DRM-protected textbooks.

Failing that, QRead is good, you can use Codex to turn them into rtf or Html.
Or you can just unzip them and get at chapters in your browser.
