Is it possible to use voice activation to navigate youtube? What hardware/software combination would you recommend?(self.Blind)

Thanks. I've already asked similar to this, but my previous attempts weren't very clear. I have a newly blind relative I'm trying to set up, thanks a lot for any help.

I gave you options for voice control in the previous thread.
Does this person have mobility issues? If not then yeah they'll need to learn a screen reader eventually. Voice controls are helpful but extremely limiting. Talkback and Voiceover will let them do 10x more stuff than voice controls.

you mentioned bed bound, but does he have free use of his hands? iPhones and iPads also have settings for people who have issues with their hands as well.

no, very low dexterity... really all he has is his voice.

The best I’ve found is using a screen reader and a phone/Apple TV. They’re going to have to learn to use a screenreader eventually
