How do you check the length of a Long Article/Essay in NVDA? (self.Blind)

Some articles have "Reading Time" at the top, which is one indicator. But is there a way to get word count? Or paragraph count? Or another way?

Depends on the application you’re reading the document in. Alternatively, you can select the text and it will tell you how many bytes are selected.

Just in case the OP doesn't know, a byte is the same as a character (letter, number or punctuation mark). So 512 bytes = 512 characters.
