Part time job advice (self.Blind)
submitted by prosperoairy
Hello. I was wondering if anyone has any advice on where someone with a visual impairment should be looking for part-time work. I am currently trying to supplement my income as I transition into more stable work. The usual thoughts, such as retail or service have never seemed accessible for me. I have tried call centers without much luck. Any other ideas? Thank you for any help.

Edit: I am an educator and writer if that helps.

I've done call center and other work part time from home. Since you're an educator look into VIPKid or some of the other Teach People in other countries English programs.

Also since you're a writer look into blogger or being a content writer for websites.

Not sure of your age and gender, but I know VIP people who work as a receptionist, a dishwasher in a restaurant, a counselor, and as an animal care attendant at a boarding kennel.
