I have one. so the black pieces have pins on the top of them, and the black squares are raised up more. Each piece has a pin in the bottom of it, and each square on the board has a hole in its centre to help the pieces stay stationary on the board when hands are feeling around. This board also came with checker pieces of similar description to the chess pieces.

One question I was wondering... what design did you have that would substantially improve on existing chess boards designed for those with vision loss?
