Visual Acuity 6/15 is the metric system for 20/20 imperial system for standard vision measurement. A chart used is the Snellen Eye Chart. It means his vision is 20/50 and using pinhole it's 20/40. In layman's terms, if you can see an object clearly that is 50 feet away, your son needs to stand 20 feet away to see the same object. For example, my vision is 20/400.

For the other items, it's better if you speak with a medical professional like a family doctor, who can explain what those medical terms mean.

Yeah. Visual Acuity is how far someone can see. Depending on the assessment there various system of measurement. So far I have noticed 3 systems, 20/20 where the distance is in feet and the 6/6 or 3/3 are in meters.
