Hello!

I am looking for people with complete vision loss to participate in a workshop to understand the practices of remembering past life moments for blind people.
Although technology has advanced very much and is still being developed, I believe the current technology does not fully support some practices of blind users.
Most of the assistive devices are mainly focused on addressing the physical difficulties of blind users. However, I would like to focus on the capabilities of blind people to support your own lifestyle, rather than introducing difficult instructions. I believe this could be done by learning about the experience and practice directly from blind people, which is the reason why I designed this participatory workshop.
In this workshop, I will focus on the practices of reminiscing on the past by running a one-on-one, 90-minute participatory design workshop with each participant. We will talk about your own experience of how you remember the past and how you would want to capture or revisit your memorable moments in life. Remuneration will be provided at the end of the workshop to appreciate participation and time.
If you are living in Vancouver and are interested in participating in this workshop, please send me an email at
$1! I will give you more details about the workshop.
If you happen to live somewhere else but would like to know more about the study, please do not hesitate to ask questions. Your feedback and comments are always very appreciated!

PS. Please note that I am only looking for people with complete vision loss!
