Had a partial detachment in my right eye about seven years ago. (I also had an excellent surgeon who got things put back in place!)

My left eye got laser treatments to create scar tissue to keep things connected. So far things have been stable.

I had a retinal detachment in one eye about ten years ago. I did not have one in the other eye but I did recently have a laser procedure to prevent it in the second eye. If I did not have the procedure it probably would have happened. It still could happen but the weak spots the doctor saw have been fixed for now.
