I hope that you are joking. If not, here is an explanation. Blind people have vision loss. People who are deaf have hearing loss. Not all blind people are deaf. If you are a blind person who is not hearing impared, then you can hear the words spoken to you. If you can hear the words spoken to you, then there is almost never a need to know sign language. A blind person will likely have trouble seeing the sign language gestures. If a person is both visually and hearing impaired, various adaptations can be made to make it easier to see the signs. For example, a person can use tactile sign language and feel the sign language gestures or they could sign more slowly or use smaller body movements to make the signs easier to follow. I really hope that you are joking. If not, I hope that this message enlightened you.

I’m legally blind but I know ASL so next time I get drunk I will find out. I don’t get drunk often mostly because I’m allergic to alcohol so I feel like puking and have a giant headache after like one sip. But next time I will try signing if I remember. I’m guessing it would probably just be not as tight signs and messing up on finger spelling maybe.
