Any other low vission gamers out there interested in mine craft? (self.Blind)

Hi, I’m Chris, a blind YouTube creator and music producer. I have been super interested in mine craft lately and my free time is pretty much spent playing it and trying to spread awareness about newly emerging main stream gaming for totally blind and low vission gamers. While mine craft hasn’t reached playability for totally blind players yet, any low vission players interested in joining a mine craft server for low vission players only or learning about the game? Thankfully the java addition of the game includes a demo mode, so you can try to see if the accessibility features work for you before purchasing the game for $26. Let me know if anyone’s interested

I play modded Minecraft and have 6/36 vision. My vision is currently pretty good though compared to others who have the same disease as me.

Edit: forgot to say, I'd be interested but not sure if I'm quite low vision enough for what you need.

Your start screen should tell you if your playing java or bedrock

I’m totally blind and very interested in playing Minecraft wasn’t there a Microsoft initiative awhile back to try and make this kind of thing happen. I seem to remember that VICTA wrote something about this in one of the newsletters

I like building in Minecraft because the contrast is really good and the graphics are simple and more to the point. Everything is big and noticeable. The menu/options screen is easy to read compared to other video games. I also like the soundtrack.

Hello, my name is Greg... I'm in my early 40's and from the Pacific Northwest in the United States. Recently, I was browsing through the posts here on R/Blind and ran across this post about Minecraft. I know you mentioned the Java edition, but I actually have the Bedrock edition. I'm so new to Minecraft, I have no clue what to do, and being able to play with other visually impaired people would be nice. I know I'm restricted to playing with others with the Bedrock edition, but I do have a realm able to host up to 10 others besides myself if anyone with the Bedrock edition is interested. I also have a Discord server so I can chat with others who join me on my realm. I'm also open to joining other Bedrock servers/Discord servers to play with others in the visually impaired community. If interested, please get in touch. I'm Enigmus#7612 on Discord and Sasquatch98168 on XBox Live.

I really need to get a windows pc so I can play with you. I got the java version of the game because installing mods is easier for it and I game on the Mac right now. I’ll keep this in mind when I get it up and running though
