I'm a fully blind hockey fan, and I dress up as a blind ref a few times a year just to make people laugh. I find it rather enjoyable since it's a topic everyone agrees on at hockey games when the officiating is particularly poor. :)

Yeah that's kinda cringy and a bit sad, but I care just a smidge more about the people dieing in slow agony from ebola in Liberia or the fact that I'm preparing to move to another country in a couple months for instance.

Simply that I suspect (based on previous experience) that this post is attempting to bait people into feeling outraged over something which is comparatively unimportant.
Again I'm not saying it's good, that this costume exists, but I'm just trying to head it off before it starts, because any minority bitching about something this unimportant just makes them look bad.
