Lego offering audio and braille instructions (legoaudioinstructions.com)

That's cool. Kind of annoying they're gearing it towards children but oh well.

If they get instructions for their Star Wars sets then I'll definitely buy some.

Edit: Oh. One of the first instructions is to get a sighted person to help. That's reasonable given it's about sorting the pieces by colour but still demoralising.

Hopefully they'll add instructions for more complex sets as time goes on.

I spent last weekend tediously building their Apollo 11 lunar lander kit with the help of a lighted magnifier. Audio instructions would have been nice to have.

I want that set really bad, but the lack of directions has stopped me from buying it. I definitely couldn't get someone to read me the entire instruction booklet but I could probably get someone to sort the pieces by color for me.

Hey, Lego, make more instructions. I want to give you my money.

Well I mean that is their primary intended audience.

Well, if you are completely blind and building it for yourself, you might as well not care about the colors anyway

There's a blind guy who makes kit instructions that we can actually use ourselves. I'll see if I can find him again. He does this way better and it's really dumb that Lego can't bother to take the advice of someone who did their job better.
