Well, I had a friend who is deafblind. He communicated predominantly through sign language. He learned Japanese, and did quite well at it I believe.

This is a person who has very intrusive thoughts who posts here every month or two about going deaf blind. I think it would be very difficult to be this individual but a ban might be warranted.
