I got the job! (self.Blind)

Some of you may remember that I posted about a week and a half ago about some eyesight-related anxiety I was having over an upcoming job interview - $1.
Things got pushed back a bit due to scheduling conflicts, but I had the final interview with the company last night. I set my webcam up at an angle that I felt didn't draw too much attention to my work-in-progress prosthetic and then just mostly ignored the fact that the camera was there.
Tonight I found out that I got the job! We're still sorting out the details, but I'm so happy and so, so relieved. It seems like it's going to be a great place to work and the job itself sounds really interesting.

Thanks! I've been lucky. This is the first time in 10 years I've had to look for a job, but it also meant I was super out of practice at looking for work. It's a roller coaster ride I'm glad to be over.

I can definitely understand that. The job hunting process can be so overwhelming. But from your previous post it sounds like this company will be lucky to have you!

Thanks! Yeah, I'm excited. I feel like I'd kind of maxed out my potential at my old job and was staying because of the wonderful people. There's a lot of growth potential at the new place.

I just moved jobs recently as well and I know the struggle and worry that goes with it. That feeling of knowing you're in the door, its wonderful.

Thank you! I got the official offer tonight - right in line with what I was expecting and a start date that give me time to wrap things up with my current employers.
