Linking my Apple Watch 5 and iPhone X with my Air Pods 1st Generation (self.Blind)
submitted by BlueRock956
Hi, I don’t like for people to hear Voice Over; not even when my watch is telling me the time. Is there a way to link both the watch and phone to my air pods without them being heard? I’m often in meetings so this is important for me.

Haptic time. You can turn it on in settings. You'll just have to learn the vibration patterns. Or turn on the chime thing and have it go off like every fifteen minutes or so. I don't have much experience with airpods, sadly.

You can set the watch to vibrate the time for you instead

Do I do this by covering the screen with my hand. I hear the click, and then I double tap the screen?

I don't know how sorry
