Hello everyone! I'm interested if there's some kind of software accessible for blind that can help me read the music notation independently? I know that there's a breile notation, but how would you go about doing the same thing with the software and no braile involved? or with breile, but with the software like Duxbury or similar, but without breile displays or printers. Because currently where I live, there's not much breile support for notation, so I thought going on a software path. Has anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance.

I think $1 is a good option. Can't speak from experience - only from what I've heard.

Have you had a look at $1 I'm no musician but those I know say it's very good.

Have not heard about that one as far as accessibility but sibelius from avid works great on windows 7 with jaws. Sibelius 5 to be exact. An old version but is the only one that works 100 percent. The mac version is getting much better though and they hope to have it fully accessible by next year.

I tend to use $1 (free software), pulling content from $1.
