I do okay with the Switch in handheld mode because I can hold it up to my face. Especially the ones that are easy on the eyes (I can't think of a better term) like Mario games, where you don't have to worry about small details. Most of the stuff you have to look at is in the middle, and there's not tons of stuff going on.

Anyways, my fiance and our friends have been playing Smash Bros a lot lately and honestly I'm VERY sad that I can't play. I've tried really really hard to adapt to it. I just can't do it. I'm not good at fighting games anyways so me not being able to see what's going on makes it way too hard. Also, I can kinda play Mario Kart still but I'm not as good as I was when I could see better so I don't want to play anymore because now my fiance is better than me.....lol.

I've been able to find a few single player games I can do in handheld, but what's fun and not too complicated looking that I can play on the TV with my friends? Or is there anything that won't take forever to learn how to play without relying on sight?

I used to be really into gaming (ESPECIALLY Nintendo games) a couple years ago and I've been slowly going blind. I'm now at the point where I have to accept that I just can't do some stuff I used to be able to. Which sucks ass. Hopefully someone here knows a way to make it suck a little less ass!
