VI Friendly Activities in Chicago? (self.Blind)
submitted by team_meme
Hey folks!

My team is planning a trip to Chicago with a few kids who are VI/Blind. We have a few accessible tours planned, but I'm wondering, what are the best VI/Blind friendly activities in Chicago? We're trying to teach the kids mobility on stuff like the train and the taxis, but also want them to have fun exploring!

I’d call the Museum of Science and industry to see if they have descriptive audio. That museum has some cool hands on stuff. Also around the Chicago river emtrance ther are pedal cars that seat two or four but only require on sighted driver. Those might be fun to bike around in down by the lake.
