Hi everyone, I just wanted to ask some advice for my mum.
She recently had a subarachnoid haemorrhage and a stroke, and now her vision is significantly impaired. The things she can see often distress her, so she frequently uses a mask to cover her eyes. We're doing what we can to help her cope and we are under the care of several medical teams.
She's quite low in mood a lot of the time, and I worry that part of this is that she is struggling to find things to do and is struggling to do things she used to do like painting etc (stroke affected her dominant arm and vision).
I was wondering what sort of things we can do as a family or on her own when she wants, that might be enjoyable for her? She is listening to audio-books and we do crosswords together, but I feel like there must be many more activities that can help her. I was wondering if people might be able to suggest a few things for us? We would be really grateful.
Many thanks!

Edit: Mum is around 60 years old.
