I'm doing voice training and I often have difficulty finding my pitch. I've given up on fancy stuff like gram and voice pitch analyzer that can analyze overtones and resonance, but is there at least a basic tuner that I can use? Maybe there's some software that uses a braille display as output or something? It has to work for somebody without any sight.

I use an iOS app called Fine Tuner. Out of the dozen or so I've tried that's the only one that seems to report HZ in an accessible way. If you have IOS13 and above you could watch the HZ so it'll let you know without you having to navigate away and come back to it.

Darn. I'm planning on switching to iPhone next year but that's still a ways off. Thank you for the suggestion. I'll keep it in mind. Do you happen to know anything available for Mac?

Worth a try: Garage Band has a tuner on its platform. The tuner is sensative to changes, and I wonder if you'd be able to read the changes on the Braille display.

Hi, the easiest would be to get a keyboard and listen to yourself while hitting notes.

If you find one that will work with a bass guitar, please let me know.

For your base try talking tuner on iPhone. I haven’t picked up a guitar in a while but think it’s still around.
