Best way to rest eyes (self.Blind)

Is it better to put your head down in a dark room or ly down in a dark room

I don't think it matters as long as you stop the thing that made them fatigued in the first place. For me, that's reading print, or focusing on anything for too long. I've pretty much stopped the former because of worsening vision, so that is not particularly an issue for me anymore.

I'm trying to stop using my eyes more and more but find it hard to do
CloudyBeep 1 points 3y ago
What are you using your eyes for?
theawesomeaquarist [OP] 1 points 3y ago
Currently navigation but waiting on o and m training to start

I use it for reading and writing but I can use a reader and scribe if I want to

I use a reader but find it hard to maintain information

I use a scribe in most subjects but some I find it hard to

Ask to learn braille or a screen reader.

I have been trying to figure out eye resting too. My work and school is very heavily dependent on the computer. I use Zoomtext and Magnifier, but it gets tiring.

I just shut my eyes. I have found that if I increase the frequently of my breaks, I can decrease their length. It probably works out to the same amount of time, but it lets me be more productive and overall not feel as drained at the end of the day.

I have an app on my computer that makes me take a 30 second break every 20 minutes and a longer, 10min break every 2hrs. I don't think I'd bother leaving the room (especially if I was in a classroom or a meeting where I could still listen to what was going on), but if I was so light sensitive that shutting my eyes alone wasn't enough, I'd just put on sunglasses/opaque glasses for a bit.

My detorating vision has caused me to become very light sensitive

Eye doctor was considering tinted lenses but worried about my contrast so I got photocromatic lenses instead

I also have back pain and temse muscles in one of my arms and legs due to a type of cerebral palsey

It adds to my fatigue so i find laying down helps everything

Hi, laying down with eyes closed, and having slized cucumber covering the eyes. The cucumber would be a good snak as well.

I try to lay down with some wait on my eyes

I find that since I started lying down it helps far more
