They only make “sport wear” so it’s freaking durable as hell. It’s better than my $300 Oakleys. My pair came with spare lenses, so I can change the color if I feel like it!

Their website is tough to navigate tho. I recommend computer instead of mobile.

I’ve got a pair of super dark ones that are for migraines, for super sunny days, and a pair of headphone ones for the rest. I’m looking for some that look like sunglasses from the outside, but have very little shading from the 8nside. I’d use those for when I want to “look blind” and forestall questions.

I have half a dozen pairs but I just got Ray Ban Jackie Ohs which are really huge and cover up half your face, but at least you can sit at a bar and have a conversation with someone without them treating you like you have some sort of communicable disease. My other main ones are a bit like aviators but they have been reglazed about seven times. That's a good trick as you can have them as dark as you want and people can't see what's going on.

It is probably bad form to do this, I don't want to hide, but sometimes it just makes life easier.

I was recently recommended to try polarised lenses and they are the fricken bomb. I will recommend them to anyone who wants to listen. I am a polarised lenses evangelist.

Alas, I don't even know if what I wear has a brand name. They kind of look like really beefy Raybans but I get them through low vision centers because no Sunglass Hut on Earth is likely to carry the extremely low opacity lenses I need. If you can get to a low vision assessment done, ask them about shades. All I really know about mine is that they cover a lot of area and block a lot of light, which is critical for me, and apparently make me look like a cyberpunk 80s supervillain, which is a great bonus.

I have always used my Persol 649's. They never go out of style and last forever.
