I love the part where she asks a guy "Where is the Delta gate?", he responds "Um... I don't know where that is...", she prompts "What does it say in front of you?", he replies "Uh... Delta Airlines?"

That made me laugh more than it should.

Really interesting video, thanks for sharing.

I realy enjoyed how she demonstrated structure discovery methods. It would have been much easier to accept the assistance from the moment she arrived at the airport, but she took the bull by the horns and used her traveling skills. She was never lost, she was investigating where to go and asking questions worked well. Note how well she communicated with people when asking for dirrections.

Hi r/Blind! I thought this video would belong here (it does include audio descriptions and narration). Mona Minkara won the 2019 Holman Prize and is documenting her experiences as a blind traveler in five international cities to raise awareness about accessibility and other issues surrounding blindness.

The show’s alright but the audio describing could have been mixed a lot better.

I would like to know more about what you mean by this? I'm working on an art installation using sound geared towards blind/visually impaired people. It would be helpful to hear how to make the experience more worthwhile. Thank you.

The description is very quiet where ads the audio for the show is at a normal volume.
