I’ve traveled with them several times and have generally enjoyed the trips. I don’t find the company particularly overbearing or overprotective, but I have noticed some differences between American and British blind people in terms of independence and cultural differences. Most of the attendees are just trying to have new experiences with fun people. I think Traveleyes works better for “off the beaten path” trips that involve significant language and cultural differences. Let me know if you have more specific questions.
