How good a sailor are you already and what's the longest solo journey you've completed?

In addition to the planning component, how long do you have? Having a few years ahead to plan would be significantly better than having 4 months to plan.

I don’t see what’s stopping you no. Do you have enough skills do you understand how to sail a boat while blind/ do you know how to sail well in general just common sense stuff you can always improve but I don’t see why a blind person couldn’t do this. It would be cool and I can see you making international news or national news. I can see it as a momentus achievement. If they spotlight someone like me, who’s very independent and interesting in general I don’t see why not you. You are doing something I don’t know if blind people have done before, and I don’t know if blind people have done a lot. Put it on youtube and you can be a star.

I don't know anything about sailing, but I don't see why you couldn't do this. There's braille/talking compasses and other tech that will make up for anything you can't see. If you know what you're doing and you have plans to tackle things that are usually done with sight, there's no reason being blind should stop you.

I just Googled "sailing while blind" and got lots of results that looked relevant.
