Ask your instructors. They will be teaching you. And remember it is not a pet but a tool, partner and member of your family.

Hi from Australia :) also have albinism and a guide dog.
Definitely ask your instructors if there's anything specific. Your program might provide the basics (e.g. bowl, brush, bed), but have suggestions for other things.
My program doesn't crate train so I'm not much help there. What I was taught with my most recent boy was tethering. I've got a couple leashes around the place (anchored to desk and bed) so he can't go wandering. Only needed that for the first couple of weeks while he adjusted to my routine.
Have you had other pets before? Congrats on being matched :)

A lot of people will want to pet your dog. Like, a LOT of people. And you'll have to tell them no. Not because you are mean, but because the dog has a job to do (even when that job is being quiet and sleeping under a desk). Do you will have to enforce discipline in that regard. There can be times the dog has fun time/pet times (when the harness comes off), but you have to tell people to not distract the dog when they are doing what they are suppose to do

I went to that same program a year ago so all the information is fresh feel free to message me with any questions you have
I would recommend you figure out where your new friends food will go and where they will eat and where there place will be
Oh and definitely invest in a good lint roller
