misight myopia control lenses (self.Blind)

I don’t know if i’m in the right subreddit but i’m near sighted and my vision is shit and it keeps getting worse, my opticians has recommended these myopia control lenses however i’ve put them in and everything is kinda blurry like i can see but it’s also blurry? i’ve taken them out and cleaned them but it’s still the same. even things near me are blurry. is this normal as i’ve changed to different lenses? what should i do?

I've just been prescribed the same contact lenses and I'm having the same problem, did you continue wearing the lenses / did the issues go away with time? Cheers

When you first get new lenses for strong myopia, it takes some time to get used to them. For me, it usually takes about a week until my brain adjusts to the newer vision. Until then, it feels like I am looking out from inside a fish bowl.
