Resources for learning to play instruments (self.Blind)
submitted by Angels_Bazooka
I've been interested in learning an instrument; namely funk guitar or a traditional Okinawan guitar called the shamisen. Does anyone have any suggestions/resources that are accessible for low vision to accomplish my goal?

Pay for music lessons. You'll get a better experience if the instructor has a lesson plan.

Can speak from personal experience, being a blind person trying to teach another blind person to play the bass is surprisingly hard. She can't tell what I'm doing and I can't tell what she's doing, but we muddle through.
