A number of things. A very, very large amount of disorders or events can cause blindness. Like, too many to list here. So many that I'm surprised everyone isn't blind lol.

In general, something that effects your eyes themselves, your optic nerves, or a part of your brain that processes vision (cortical blindness).

Best to go to a doctor... May be something treatable...

Going blind doesn’t mean that you cannot use the internet. Check out assistive technology! Screen readers (VoiceOver for Mac and NVDA or JAWS for PC) are difficult to learn how to use at first, but if you start now you will have a big advantage.

So many things *can* do it. Helen Keller got something like measles IIRC. I knew a guy who got too much oxygen after he was born.

there are many causes. Maybe research your issue? What's the name of the condition?
