[JAWS Help] Jaws tandem keeps popping up when Remote Desktop is used (self.Blind)

Hello, r/Blind . My wife uses Jaws 2020 professional for her job on a Windows 10 64-bit HP laptop. As part of her job, she occasionally uses Remote Desktop to connect to other windows computers to test software. These computers don’t have Jaws installed, so she just uses Narrator on the remote machines. In short, she can’t use Jaws Tandem for these tasks. Yet whenever Remote Desktop is active, Jaws Tandem will pop up on her host computer, asking her to enter a meeting ID to allow access. Even when she presses cancel, it comes back a short time later, and sometimes continues to do this after she’s done using Remote Desktop. The only sure way to get this to stop is to restart Jaws while Remote Desktop is not running. Any tips to prevent this? We looked all over the settings and can’t find anything that looks relevant. She also says this doesn’t seem to happen on her desktop computer at work, just on her laptop. Thanks!

If she's not using jaws with remote, Why not quit it while doing remote sessions? I'd think the 2 would conflict anyway wouldn't they? Some commands may be grabbed by jaws before reaching narrator or the other way around. Quitting it would mean that it wouldn't see a remote control connection somewhere and try to override it.

Unfortunately, she’s having to constantly switch back to her host computer to record results, paste screenshots, etc. Otherwise, that would help.

What about setting jaws to sleep mode for remote connection? I can't quite remember how to do that but its probably a possibility. With some apps I know its a risk though because of internet applications, but could give it a shot. You'd have to look at the manual though as I haven't used it in years, sorry. If this were to work though you could alt tab out of it and jaws would come back on but while in the remote connection program it would be bypassed.
