how do blind people learn the way to have sex? (self.Blind)
submitted by dluete
No offense ,Here's the thing , I am in a country which you might don't like. after some research, I found out almost all people in the blind are homophobic in my country.
Then, After thinking about it, I believe the reason probably is that the teachers who teach them about sex life are more likely to be conservative or even homophobic.
So I am curious about how blind people from your democratic countries learn about sex. Will your teachers teach you about homosexual sex?

New supplement --------

really thanks everyone, and I find out it is very interesting about we might focusing on different core in my question.

Actually, I am trying to figure out whether blind in your country will be taught about gay sex is totally normal and acceptable things when blind people got sex education.

on the other hands, I pointed out the status quo of blind sex education in my country .

I come from a country that has recently suffered discrimination and criticism on Twitter.

Correct me if I'm wrong here, but guessing you're young, gay, blind, and live in an Islamic country?

First and foremost, don't worry about being gay if you are, and that's totally fine. I'm gay myself. Love is never a bad thing regardless of gender, so don't worry about the homophobia at all.

As for the sex thing... well, this is awkward, because I'm assuming you're a kid. I wouldn't worry about it, and I promise you will be able to learn sex without any problem. Sex has nothing to do with being able to see. Starts with a guh, then turns into a kiss, then turns into other things....

Don't worry, you'll be just fine at sex. Everyone likes different things though, so just make sure whoever you're having fun with agrees and likes the same, and figure each other out. I promise it's not a problem, just go for it, and have fun! Just make sure both of you like what's happening, and it's all good.

My bet's on China, but it could well be an Islamic country. OP, tell us who's right.

I'm from Canada, but was born and raised in a small town. Where I was born, you weren't allowed to be gay. It wasn't illegal to be gay, but if people found out, they would probably beat you up and put you in the hospital.

So trust me, I get the homophobia thing. I guess being gay might be illegal in your country, so you have to be careful about that.

No, I don't think any school in the world teaches about sex. They teach about how a penis and vagina work, how babies are made, and to use a condom and practice safe sex, but that's really about it. That's all even any school anywhere in the world teachers.

I don't know, just find someone around your same age who you like, and who likes you. There is no text book or rules about sex, you just learn as you go. Find someone, and play around. There's no rules, just whatever makes you both feel good. Again, as long as both of you are happy with everything, then go for it, and enjoy!

Most blind people in Western countries attend schools with sighted students. As another person said, schools don't teach you about sex; they just teach you about the organs in the reproductive system. Maybe some blind people in your country who are gay don't want to be open about it because they don't want their family to alienate them and see them as lesser in two ways.

Depending on what country you’re from, homosexuality could be seen as a sin which would lead to some degree of homophobia, maybe even internalized. Humans, evolutionarily, will hit puberty and sexual urges will soon follow. If you aren’t taught that it’s gross/ sinful/ whatever to have feelings for someone of the same sex, you could potentially experience sexual attraction to whatever gender you prefer. For me, personally, as a bisexual female, I was first attracted to men and later in my teens to women as well. I can say that your instincts guide the way when it comes to actual sex though, whether female or male. We all learn by trial and error, porn, etc.. nobody is going to give you a tutorial, so to speak lol. In the USA, we do take sex education classes starting (in most states) by middle school, and definitely a class in high school. These classes don’t really teach you “how to” have sex, it more just is there to teach you how to have safe sex and how reproduction works as well as the dangers of unprotected sex. I knew gay people existed due to having gay family members before coming out to my parents or even taking a sex Ed class. Hopefully this answers your question!

My guess is that OP is from China, where homosexuality has a greater taboo than in the West, but is not a sin.

I know a few blind folks who also happen to be gay, so I'm not sure what you're trying to imply.

\*confused\*

Don't think he's trying to imply anything, except he's a horny gay kid who happens to be blind, and is curious about sex.

Considering the pandemic, seems legit. There's a whole new generation of baby boomers probably being made right now, lol.

sorry, i am not trying to imply anything, Because i already had directly said the homophobia condition in blind people who is in my country because of the overly conservative teacher,I guess .

Mostly searched the web and asked my mom. you wouldn’t believe how many stories are out there that describe it in great detail.

Readerotica. It’s not always realistic but describes a lot in detail. When you find yourself in a sexual situation, ask whoever you are with to tell you or show you what they like. It’s hot plus people aren’t mind readers. If they say no don’t take it personally. If you don’t like something that’s ok too. See about trying something else, or maybe stop altogether. I’m still working on knowing my worth when it comes to others respecting my boundaries but that’s what I have for now.
