In UEB, these show as 3-cell characters. For example, å is ⠘⠫⠁
It seems that you're not using UEB if you're seeing computer braille, so I suppose you have 3 choices:
1, use 8-dot braille on your display.
2, use the appropriate braille code for the language you are learning,
or 3, use UEB with the awareness that you'll need 3 braille cells per letter.

I looked up Swedish braille code and it shows the following.
å or a with a ring as dots 16
ä or a with dyaresis as dots 345
ö or o with a dyaresis as dots 246
