Transformer magnifier? (self.Blind)

Hi all
Im looking at cctv,electronic magnifiers, video magnifiers. its al lthe same thing but depends where u go they call it by a different name.
I have my eye on the New model out calledthe Transformer.
has anyone used this or got their hands on a demo of it yet?
Are the differences in this, the mouse and the handheld one with a stand much to tell?
Certainly there is a massive difference in price. One is ten times the price of the other.

I demo'd a Transformer when I was trialling equipment with division of blind services. It was the one with the camera on the stand. The CCTV was like the regular portable, tablet size. I think it connected to a laptop as well. It was very nice, but I felt it was a bit much for me. I ended up with a tablet sized CCTV & telescopic lens.

Thanks. I tried to go the the shop in London to try it out butthey are not stocking electronics anymore.
The one I am thinking of is like a foldable desk lamp in its design.
The hand held ones are much less costly but will they do the same job if propped up on a stand.?
There is also the mouse which looks just like a computer mouse but a camera underneath and that can be used just like a mouse or propped on a stand .
The transmoer I was looking at is the desktop foldable one. and yes it plugs intothe computer and can be used as a scanner as well. and the plus verson does ocr and text to voice. ie speaks to you with is great at a plus pricelol.
Do you think the tablet givesthe quality and diversity you need to do desktop stuff? do you have a stand for yours?

I did not actually get the Transformer. The one I demo'd was the foldable desktop one, with the camera on the stand.

ok thanks I wish they still hadthe Acrobat going. that was a good cctv. Had camera in front of monitor when all the others had it the usual way round. it was flexible like an acrobat. .
They don't seem to havethat anywhere now.
i have only one real place I have been able to check this equipment out. amazon does some other stuff and is not very descriptive.
Where do you do your research for these items?
I know talking micros and ovens are good to get from cobolt.
