Hello, I host a podcast about a condition called prosopagnosia... also known as face blindness. Face blind people are fully sighted, but lack the ability to visualize faces. Thus, they are unable to easily recognize people. The most severe cases cannot recognize their spouses or children.
In the podcast, we talk about what it's like to live with this and coping tricks and techniques. Often, we rely on other identifying factors like hairstyle, voice, and mannerisms.
I would like to interview someone who is actually blind as there may be some interesting similarities or even new strategies faceblind people might learn in terms of identifying others.
The podcast is called Faceblind and can be found at
$1 or wherever you get podcasts.
I'd ideally like to interview someone who has never experienced sight from birth.
Please let me know if you are interested. This would be a remote interview and can be done from anywhere on earth.
Thanks!
Jeff
