Scanning books in? (self.Blind)
submitted by siriuslylupin6
Suppose you want to read a book for your own amusement, entertainment, learning, on your own time. This book isn’t available anywhere that you can possibly find.

Has anyone bought books tore them up because you couldn’t find them in accessible formats and scanned them in. Because it’s not for school or work but for fun?

How did it go? I’ve thought about buying a few of these. Tearing them up seem like such a waste. I guess I can pay and eventually have them bound back together.

I did lot of scanning in my youth. Flatbed scanner back in the day. Results livable-with, but of course not publisher quality.

Now I outsource to ddsr.com because they're just convenient and reasonably priced.
