Jobs or volunteer recommendations for blind father-in-law? (self.Blind)

Hi there,
My S/O's dad has Stargardt's disease. His vision has deteriorated a lot in the last few years leaving him without a job. They don't come from a lot of money and he wasn't brought up in a way that let him accept his disability, making it hard for him to think outside of the box when it comes to jobs, tasks, etc. What are some things he can do to keep busy?
His brother has this disease as well.

depending on where you live there are programs that will take on persons with disabilities. Here in Florida there is the Division of Blind Services these agencies have programs that will assist in both job training and placement, sometimes with a job coach (such as myself) to aid the clients in transitioning into a new environment and savty in the workplace
