Olympus LS-P4 questions (self.Blind)

Hello.
So yesterday, I ordered an Olympus LS-P4 audio recorder, and I had a few questions for those who either have used it in the past or still use it now.
1. I've heard it comes with a battery, but which kind is it? Is it NIHM or Alkaline?
2. Is there an audio guide somewhere on how to go through setup?
