The case the case is detachable from the keyboard and provides substantial protection for the iPad. As other reviews have said the case is big and brick like. . The case has a kickstand that is magnetic. The buttons on the case are tactile and can be felt by touch but are still a little bit hard to feel. The Power button is only slightly tactile to my touch.
the keyboard
the keyboard has good tactile feedback with good key travel the arrow keys are laid out the same way as on the apple smart keyboard , the up and down arrow keys are two separate buttons so when using quick navi nav up and down can be pressed to activate a on screen item. the tactile marks on the F and J keys are very pronounced
Trackpad
the bad as of iPad OS 13.4.1 the trackpad cant be used by a voiceover user like when a bluetooth Multi touch trackpad is connected and the new option of pointer access shows up in the voiceover menu under double tap timeout..
as shown in David Woodbridges demo of using a trackpad with voiceover with a magic trackpad. When I spoke o to apples accessibility hotline they said they would send it over to the Developers.
final thoughts
I Would like to see full trackpad commander like functionality in a future version of iPad OS. Like with mac OS.
the other multitouch gestures work though with no speech feedback from voiceover
After using the keyboard case for a few hours I found myself trying to use the trackpad like I would on Mac os. for example Trying a three finger double tap to mute speech
Trying a three finger triple tap to toggle on and off screen curtain
