I don't know if this would be as helpful, as I was diagnosed just before lockdown with macular retinoschisis (degenerative, rather than x-linked.). Most likely cause is my ROP and all the problems it caused. Not sure how the symptoms would differ, but I've had low but useable vision since birth which has stayed the same until now.
