I think you will have to compromise. For instance, most countries that are welcoming and supportive towards blind people will also be welcoming and supportive towards LGBT people - in more conservative cultures where being openly LGBT is not okay, there's often not much respect for blind/disabled people either.

Why do you care so much about LGBT? They're not contagious, you know. If you want to live in a really nice country, you have to accept that LGBT people have rights too. You don't have to like it, but if you're looking for something more conservative you'll have to settle somewhere not that nice.

Lol I can say that I've encountered this fellow before, nothing he says can be taken seriously, and any attempts at giving real advice will be ignored or skewed. He thinks he's always right, but then keeps asking questions, so yeah, just a source of entertainment at this point.
