Finding a subreddit's sidebar on the new site (self.Blind)
submitted by SLJ7
I can see so much information about a subreddit from Dystopia by opening the sidebar. I can't find this at all on new Reddit though, and I'm wondering if anyone knows how to get there. I asked in help for someone to just tell me how you do it visually, and all anyone would tell me was "Use old Reddit, it works better." I actually happen to like the redesign a lot for the most part, and I'm not asking because I can't do it; I'm asking because it bothers me not to know how to do it on this particular platform. Everything else was pretty easy to figure out.

On the main page of a subreddit, go to to the next level 2 heading, it should say "about community". If that's not the sidebar then I apologise.

It is, but it doesn't show as much information. For instance, take a look at r/ChooseMyAlignment with Dystopia vs. in a browser. The sidebar there gives some information about the purpose of the sub, a link to info on D&D alignments, etc. none of that shows up for me using Chrome.

I wish I could help, but I'm looking for the same info. If you find out, I hope you'll share it here.
